Brethren!
A well-known speaker started off his seminar by holding up a $20.00 bill. In the room of 200, he asked, "Who would like this $20 bill?" Hands started going up. He said, "I am going to give this $20 to one of you but first, let me do this.
He proceeded to crumple up the $20 dollar bill. He then asked, "Who still wants it?" Still the hands were up in the air. Well, he replied, "What if I do this?" He dropped it on the ground and started to grind it into the floor with his shoe. He picked it up, now crumpled and dirty. "Now, who still wants it?" Still the hands went into the air.
My friends, we have all learned a very valuable lesson. No matter what I did to the money, you still wanted it because it did not decrease in value. It was still worth $20.
Many times in our lives, we are dropped, crumpled, and ground into the dirt by the decisions we make and the circumstances that come our way. We feel as though we are worthless. But no matter what has happened or what will happen, you will never lose your value.
Dirty or clean, crumpled or finely creased, you are still priceless to those who DO LOVE you. The worth of our lives comes not in what we do or who we know, but by WHO WE ARE.
You are special- Don't EVER forget it." And, remember: amateurs built the ark. Professionals built the Titanic.
If God brings you to it - He will bring you through it. (Copied)

Brethren:
February was a very successful month. Our Stated Meeting Dinner, Super Bowl Party and Sweethearts Ball were a great success. It’s especially gratifying to see many of our advancing Candidates taking part and helping with the work. These fledgling Masons are quickly becoming an integral and accepted part of the Masonic community. They have taken to heart the concept that service and hard work lays the foundation upon which true achievement, great character and personal contentment is built.
At the March Stated Meeting Dinner, in honor of Saint Patrick’s Day we will be serving classic Corn Beef and Cabbage. This particular evening is a MUST ATTEND for we are featuring a guest chef, Brother Hank Williams. Brother Williams is a self proclaimed Corn Beef and Cabbage specialist and has offered to share with us his time honored family recipe. Offered as an alternative will be my not so timed honored Pesto chicken.
Make your reservations, join us and enjoy Brother Williams Corn Beef Dinner.
The Stated Meeting Dinner will be Thursday, March 1st. Social time starts at 6:00 PM. Dinner served at 6:30 PM. The cost is $10.00 dollars at the door and free for the Ladies.
Worshipful Brennan is hosting a Family Night on Thursday, March 29th. At 6:30 PM.
$ 5.00 dollars for men, free for the rest. Bring the Family for a light dinner, fun and entertainment.
In the first month of my term as Junior Warden, I received an over abundance of support. Brothers of all ages and many of their family members have freely given me help in the kitchen. Your devotion to Brotherly Love and Relief, reaffirms my belief that Masonry brings out the best in all men and those around him.
Or maybe, you are all afraid that if left to my own devices I may burn the kitchen down.
What ever the reason, thank you!
Fraternally,
Jeffrey W. Yates,
Junior Warden
